The Royal Academy

Mini Marathon

Each step we take reveals new horizons to us. And on June 18, the 60 students of the Royal Academy took thousands of such small steps when they actively participated in a 4.1 KM run organised by the school. The starting point was the entrance of the school campus, traversing through mild forests and finishing at the entrance to the Pangbisa village. The students’ demonstrated grit and stamina as each and every one of them successfully completed the run. Many were surprised at their own results, for it is not everyday that one runs over 4 KM at an altitude of nearly 3000 m. Teachers and support staff adorned the trail track, cheering the students’ along. The front runner completed the run in 22 minutes but what was magnificently evident was, a new horizon was revealed to every participant and there were 60 winners on that beautiful day.
